I'm a bit stuck with what to do atm. Need to try and work out if its better to save to overpay in a chunk or throw it at my mortgage? and how to get extra money? and spend less money but still do things?

It is such a dilemma, have you spoke to your provider to see what is the best way to progress in repaying extra money.

I am not sure what you could do for extra money... please try to keep within the law :eek::eek: if a job offers hundreds of pounds an hour it is either illegal or a banker (doing illegal things!!) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: What about car boot sales?

With my mortgage/provider, they are a pain to pay extra each month, so I paid a lump sum. I have/had a set amount of what I want to pay extra this year, sadly I have paid one third of this.

The mortgage bureau that I used sends me letters yearly (normally saying that I still am on the best offer) but the one I got last week said that there are better offers available.... I am a mix of :T and .

Current consideration is to get the remaining of the loan on a 10 year repayment or just carry on trying to repay lump sums.

I am dreaming of being mortgage free.... in about 10 years!

The last week of July/first week of August always used to be known as Factory Fortnight in industry as there were compulsory holidays when many production lines just closed down for two weeks. Don't know if they do it these days. Showing my age again...

Up here we have the Glasgow Fair. Mid July
    .
Half of the staff where I work were on compulsory leave over the last two weeks. It a really strange set up. :rotfl: no continuity between depts

On the matter of less posters I am wondering if a lot of us have so much stuff we don't chase as much.

I gave away OOD jars etc to dh's pal. I dumped packet stuff dated before I became a member of the the elite. I have "sufficient" packet mixes etc to last a long time.

I swapped some Schwartz jars for a couple of new recipe mixes From work. We supply herbs and spices to some of the supermarkets but my stash is all Schwartz better looking product :rotfl::rotfl:

Might be worthwhile doing some research to see if diet would help?

I have read that red meat can aggravate arthritis not that it stops me but I am not a big meat eater.

Also taking supplements can help the name of one I tried taking will come to me in a minute. But because I have my stomach problem as well I had to stop taking as I got pains while taking them, when I researched seems that what the capsules are made of can aggravate!

Some people take cod liver oil but I can't face it liquid form I did try. I know I should but _pale_. I try and make sure I eat some sort of oily fish regularly.

I found the biggest thing that helped me was knowing what it was. The unknown was the worst thinking what ifs....

Bubbs. I have OA too but in my hips.

Know that diet def affects the level of pain so an exclusion diet for a few weeks may help

    Accupunture is great.
