Think we have located the leak under bedroom floorboard.

Plumber back off his hols this week but no time yet. :(

Damp patches are drying out as have wrapped some cloth round the pipe so it's going no further for now. Still turning off the mains when not using it though, don't fancy a sudden gush of water.

Mr TS says I need to get rid of lots of clothes so we have half the double wardrobe each. :o  :o I said the girls have their own double wardrobe each so no way can I cut down to half, that would only be my dresses. :rotfl:

He is not happy as he had to take all his shirts out the airing cupboard yesterday and said they should be in the wardrobe. I hang them on the wooden slats under the towel shelf then they are well spaced out after I iron them and don't get crushed. At the moment they are hung on a clothes horse in the lounge until plumber arrives. :sighs:

Yes, Nanny, lights on here too. Still hoping for some good sunshine again as we head into August, but I notice that this evening there is just the teeniest hint of autumn in the air - just that little undercurrent of chill that arrives at the tail end of the day. Hmm. Hope we have some summer left.

When I lived in Shropshire some rural folk used to refer to the Flower Show as 'summer's end' because after that the days grew noticeably shorter. 10 days to go, then! Best make the most of it, somehow!

I know what you mean Seren......we lit the BBQ again tonight but it started to rain:o so we ate it around the table:rotfl:

Just got the meat off in time. You can just sense a change in the weather can't you:o

Can someone advise on purchase which is not correct product

We bought flooring about 15 months ago and decided to extend it into kitchen We went back to the supplier with a sample and he ordered it for us He said it was the same

He has supplied a totally different colour(know it would vary but it not even similar and not the same thickness as the sample He refuses a refund or any other recompense

    Any advice TIA

Sorry to hear this mrsmac. How unreasonable:mad:.....have you gone to the "top" or is it the local manager trying to put you off. I know you can expect slight colour variations as wood ages and becomes. "Lived in" but it's not even the same thickness.

I would take it higher if you can

Thanks to TM I think it was for mentioning the clearance clothing at Argoose. :)

I picked up some denim shorts for a fiver and some jeggings for £4.50 they are both really good quality. :T

I did reserve some shorts and jeans for Mr TS too but he says he doesn't need them. :o

See if he feels the same about the shorts next year. :o;):D

I'm over the moon with my cossy and grey cardigan but I think the dress might be going back. I haven't tried it on yet but I don't think it's "me"

I love a wrap dress for work......great with boots in the winter but the colours are a bit odd. Having said that .....for £4 you can hardly complain.
I was wondering about the jeans too but I think they are gone in my size locally:o
