Different credit limit for second card holder?

Barclaycard's call centre drives me mad so I thought Id have more success asking here!
I have a Barclaycard with a credit limit of £7,000.
If I add an additional card holder to my account would they have access to the full available limit? Or could I set the spending limit on their card to say a few hundred pounds?

The other cardholder will have access to the full amount. You can't set limits.0

The second card holder has no accountability to the bank and can spend up to the limit of the card if they wish..0

Even if there was a limit it would not stop them going over it as credit cards are often authorised off-line.
The only type of cards that can provide a hard limit are the on-line debit cards that come with basic bank accounts with no overdraft.0
