Picture Finance PPI - help needed...

Hi Everyone
I'm wondering if anyone might be able to help me with my claim against Picture Finance as I'm fed up banging my head against a brick wall!!
I started my PPI claim through the FSCS last year, with the limited information I still had available, my loan with Picture was finished in full in 2007 and so I only had a few documents still on file.
The FSCS can not move my application any further forward because the one piece of information missing is evidence of any rebate I received when I paid off the loan.
It seems that there were two companies that bought the loan book when Picture went under, IDEM and WEBRESOLUTIONS, having spoken to both companies it would appear that my loan didn't move to either of them because it was closed.
Surely someone somewhere must hold on to the records of loans that were held but then closed, but I'm completely stumped as to where now to look - has anyone got any suggestions or been in a similar situation and managed to navigate their way through?
