Dishwasher Problem

Hello,

I have been quoted £215 to purchase and replace a motherboard/chip on my Neff dishwasher. Dishwasher cycle does not stop and given there appears to be no issue with heating or discharge they guy thinks 'computer chip' needs changing?

Any thoughts?

Is he a manufacturer trained tech, if so then he'll know best.

If not might be worth a call to Neff to see what their tech guys say?

How old is your machine? If it does require a £200 repair then it might be worth looking at a new machine, as AO.com, Currys, John Lewis etc are offer a £50 trade-in discount on selected Neff models.

It is about 5yrs old and was trouble free until now.

He is not Neff - so I'll try calling them first.
