My Wife is due 30th September (exciting/terrifiying!), Does anyone know what/when/how we can claim, she is employed in her current position for the last 18 months, Her boss says she will get statutory.
This is our 1st so I really have no clue, Im not expecting all the answers, just anything that might be useful from someone who may of been in the same position, as we are both tax payers all our lives it would be nice not to miss out on any entitlement, Obvioulsy I have checked the goverment website, just after any other pratical tips or what to avoid.
Thanks :A

If the employer said she will get SMP then she won't get maternity allowance, it's one or the other.
