'Decent' car body filler is 2 part!
2 part filler (car or wood) is a much better product too.
I'm not sure how you quantify 'decent' - it is true one part and two part formulations a have different properties though. The good thing about one part putty is you get plenty of working time, it's easy to work with and perfectly fine for smaller defects.
I'd agree two part is better for bigger holes as there isn't shrinkage to worry about but for small holes and gauges obe part will be cheaper, easier and perfectly adequate.0 -
