I recently received a refund of PPI on an old credit card (over 10 years), however when I requested a refund of default charges on the same credit card I was informed "that there were no default charges on this account for the last six years" - so no refund. I'm a little confused, same card (over ten years old) however the six year ruling only applies to the refund of default charges. Please advise
