Hotpoint dryer

I registered my dryer last year as it was one of the ones at fault of overheating. My date for repair was pushed back and pushed back and now over 3 months since the last date. I get an email offering me a choice of 2 dryers to click and collect from Curry's for either £19 or £49. It did say not available everywhere. I clicked onto check if available in my area and the £19 advertised but the £49 one says home delivery only and is £99. It is bad enough they are charging to replace faulty goods but this was just ridiculous.

You haven't given any indication of how old your current machine is, but if it is (say) ten years old, then a new machine for £99 looks like a bargain to me.0 -
Thank you. My dryer is just over 2 years old and have not been able to use it as it was intended for the last 9 months. I think asking people to buy a new machine, even if it is a reduced price, when they bought one in good faith but there is a fault with it is a bit much but was willing to compromise and so when I saw the £49 one that would be ideal....but it was not even available to have as an option...to me that is false advertising.0
