Holiday summer 2017 flights

Hi,

I've booked a bungalow close to Malaga on the 29th July 2017 but the only airline with bookable flights is Flybe and with 5 of us is expensive. Can anyone advise how to get the best deal on flights, is it a waiting game until other operators issue flights ?

Thanks, appeciate it's the most expensive time to go but a colleague has booked this summer holiday for £100 return. Just wondered if anyone had experience of this situation.

It was about 6 months ago, a part of me is telling me to wait but I'm being told the later you leave it the dearer it gets. It is a family holiday so need flights on 29th July for 2 weeks.

and there is your answer, he has booked the flights as soon as they came out, always the cheapest time,


Flights aren't going to get cheaper in the run up to july time, see what other operators there are and see when their flights usually come out

I am going July 2017 and only 1 operator has flights released, I'm not sure whether to wait or pay over £1000 to guarantee dates with Flybe.

If you are happy with the price then book them and you have certainty.
If it was me I would wait for other budget airlines (or even BA) to release flights.

Ryanair and easyjet won't release summer '17 flights till October. For BA it will be 11 months out..I'm keeping an eye on the avios and Ba sites for next June/ July.
Current departure date up to 4 th June depending on destination.

You're looking way too early. Wait until other airlines release flights. You don't say where you're flying from but Malaga has a lot of competition so prices tend to be decent.

Thanks for this, I'll wait a while. I live in Shropshire, so Birmingham, East Midlands or Manchester would be preferable.
