What about the rest of the questions? :-
1. More kw output?
2. Be more efficient?
3. Cheaper for parts?
4. Have a longer warranty, assuming I don't get an accredited installer?
System boiler vs Combi-Boiler?0 -
I have a Vaillant and it's constantly breaking down. I might have a lemon as every time I call in a boiler repair engineer they tell me how good Vaillants usually are.0

Do you have any choice or are you being forced to change to a combi? The installer might just be suggesting the combi because it is more work for them - therefore more money.0 -
To be honest I don't have a straight answer, because at the time of the installer attending my house, I wasn't aware I had a system boiler...it was only afterwards that I found out whilst I was doing research about the other boilers.
The question is if I was offered either a combi or a system boiler, which one should I go for and why?0 -
Just out of interest what grant did you get? My boiler is probably in it's last few weeks!0
