Didn't get in until 9.30 last night and for the first time in weeks I went to bed by 10.15 so not much done. Been working all morning, home for 45 minutes and about to go back out to take books to the library, pick up prescriptions, do the ballet and tap run, take the kids to their nanas, then go back to work. At least tonight is my early finish so will be home by 8pm and might be able to get something done then instead.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Very nice surprise last night to come home and find NIM had cooked me dinner, so we had a once in a blue moon night 'off' together and watched a film (read old Top Gear, it takes us longer to agree on a film than to watch it).
Have around an hour this morning while he picks up the kids from my mum so going to focus on getting my forms and feedback done for Carol.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Night off together sounds like just what you needed.
Had a bit of a spendy day yesterday with an impromptu visit to soft play with Heidi yesterday as was invited by a couple of mums. Had lunch there as well.
Heidi enjoyed her trial at ballet so looks like I have an expensive road ahead of me with dance classes [ROTFL].0 -
Morning,
I can't sleep, too many things are on my mind. Went to mini Kavics's parents' eve last night and came out rather shocked. I speak only in Engish with her and now they are suggesting that I start speaking Hungarian too as the education system is completely different and what she knows in English, she can't express in Hungarian. Rather difficult to explain. She is fluent in both languages but obviously her vocabulary is not as good in Hungarian as it is in English. Not sure what I am going to do about it. Need to think through it properly to see whether their reasoning is good enough for me to either find a tutor or sometimes switch the language. Any advice?
Also stood on the scale this morning and I think I lost 3 pounds. Last time I checked my weight was in August. Nothing to do with the guy I met on Friday and who asked me out on a date, no no no.
Expensive week ahead of me as I need to pay £35 at the nursery for different activities and also £15 for volleyball for the month. Haven't managed listing anything on facebook, will try to do some tonight.0 -
Kavics - i know people with two languages who switch and try and talk to the child in the other language. I'm not sure how well that works though, hope you can find a solution.
Well done on the weight loss and eek at the date, exciting!0 -
Meant to say as well i used the camelcamel thing after you mentioned it Cinny and managed to get Heidi's main presents - sylvanian starter home and pirate ship yesterday. Just need to resist buying her anything else!0

Dinah sorry about the delay, but we only have size 10 and 11. We did have a beautiful pair in very pale pink however did is not sure if she has given them away.Total debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳
😁Debt Free and you can do it too0 -
Thanks ROTE, we've tried on a pair at class and she's definitely a 9 but the school has some second hand pairs for sale for £8 so will get one of those x
I think I'm going to apply for a job. May well not get it since it will be a massive interview process and the wage is immense, but we would be able to make real headway if I got it. If this was September 2018 I wouldn't hesitate, it's just the idea of loosing my last year at home with Ben. The yoga business is going well, is flexible, I'm happy, but financially we're !!!!ed, and maybe I need to see what this would bring. It would be entirely home based, very flexible on the hours, potentially I could work say 25 hours rather than full time if they had it available. It's in my old field, I have all the necessary experience but I'd imagine it would be a very popular one to apply for so I may not even get past the sift. Ideally I would keep teaching 2 or 3 nights a week as I love teaching yoga, and in 5 years maybe I could make that my main wage again when I'd paid off the debts (and hopefully the mortgage too- as I say - very well paid role).
Plodding on with listing books on an evening. Tonight I finish early so hopefully can get 3 hours or so in, would very much like to have all the books done before I go away this weekend if at all possible.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

[STRIKE] - Decide on applying for job 3[/STRIKE]Similar to job 2, except it's actually full time office hours so no flexibility and being private sector that means 9-5 AND entertaining clients a couple of evenings a week. Definite no.

Progress. Going to try to knock out a few quick wins in the next hour before we need to pick up Grace. Ben not feeling well, think he has a cold but as always with him his ears have joined the party, so we've read about 30 books and now I've let him have Grace's kindle to do digital colouring (for no known reason he hates real colouring but likes to do it on the tablet)
Grace had her coordination assessment at the hospital this morning, showing she's around a year delayed on her left side and 2-3 years delayed on her right side. She really struggled to catch a bean bag despite 20 attempts, writing is noticeably less clear than they were expecting etc. So she's going to get 121 support for an hour a week for 6 weeks after half term, see if they can help bring her writing up to speed.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I like it when the list gets shorter. Should get a lot done today as not at work this morning as Ben is poorly so couldn't go to nursery. Means I'm £25 down in wage so will just need to make that back in other ways. Goal is to crack on with selling the books I think, see if between today and tomorrow I can't get them finished and fully traded in. Still have 8 boxes so this may be a pipe dream.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
