Just a quick question
Is it possible to reverse MP3 files back to the original format as {over many years} I have downloaded music from friends who have now passed on and I would be able to then play them on my old CD player.
I have Windows Vista on my PC

What you really mean is you want to burn them to CD to enable playing in a normal CD player. I personally use Nero for all my CD burning and music conversion for CD playing. I think it should be compatible with Vista. The quality won't be anywhere near as good as the original CD but that's price for converting to different formats multiple times and you can't "add" information/detail back once it's lost."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

You just need to burn the files as audio files in whatever program you use to burn the CD's.
You won't get the original quality back though.Dave. :wave:0 -
Thanks to both of you for your quick replies. I am willing to loose some quality as I would also like to be able to give some of my new friends an idea of some artists they have not heard of {they live abroad} I will give it a try
Thanks again0 -
Although you can easily re-convert mp3 files back to a wav format, the quality has been stripped from its original wav when originally converted to mp3. Unfortunatley, you wont get that back, and although reconverted to play on a cd player, will sound just the same as the mp3.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
