Change radiator in rover 600

Hi All

I feel incredibly proud today , that I have manage dto remove the rad from my 618 rover. New rad is 52 quid delivered and labout at locla garag is 2.5 hrs at 40 an hour Plus VAT. SO saved around an hour so far

My quest is , that when I refill the Radiator , do I have to have the heater matrix ope to get the full flow of water , and secondly is there a bleed tap on the radiator.

At the bottom of the old one is a hand tightened screw which I assumed was for draining , but I cant see a bleed screw anywhere.

Any other tips for refilling the rad

leave off the expansion tank cap, until the engine has run a bit and warmed up. this should get rid of any airlocks. replace cap whilst engine still running and then go for a test drive.
check the heater is working ok.
    Get some gorm.
