2 weeks in the US late November/early december

Hi all, any advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

I am planning a 2 week trip but I appreciate there could be many flaws in it.

I was thinking flying to chicago. I would then catch a flight to nashville. I would then try and go to Memphis.

I then would fly to the east coast. New York is a must and I was thinking Boston too. I would try and go to Philadelphia and Washington too but I have a feeling I may be way too rushed.

I have checked the prices and Air Lingus fly from Leeds Bradford, and price is same for Manchester etc.

It is just a rough idea at first but thank you in advance for everyone tips and ideas, and of course the cheaper options.

Good choice of destinations, but that trip would be way too rushed - you'll lose the best part of a day every time you move, leaving you with just one full day in each place.

New York is fantastic at that time of year, and you would only lose about 1/2 a day traveling between each of Boston, NYC, Philly and DC. There would be plenty to occupy you there for 2 weeks, so I think you'd enjoy the trip more if you stuck to that and saved Chicago/ Nashville/ Memphis for a separate trip. (I highly recommend Chicago, but just giving the number time of year think the North East is a better option for this trip).

To maximise your time search for open jaw/ multi city tickets to start/finish at Boston or Washington DC (direction doesn't matter), then work your way in a line to the other to avoid needless backtracking.

For cheap tickets, price up starting from Dublin, and then add on a separate flight to your local airport to Dublin. It'll likely be cheaper, possibly significantly so, than officially starting in the UK. Similarly it's worth checking from Scandanavian airports on Norwegian.
