    A busy week all round!

:beer:Hitchhiker is a boy! a healthy baby boy if rather bashful and gave the sonographer the run around! :rotfl:

New Budget created for March - we really need to stick to it :o We go away for a short easter break and have the cattery bill to pay as well as spending money. We have a full kitchen so will be cooking most meals with the normal weekly food budget.

Used some vouchers I have had for a good 12-18months to buy some baby bits yesterday, other than a few cardis/hoodies to knit I think we are sorted for the clothes for the first few months. I managed to win a cot on Ebay for £20 local collection too :T will need to buy a new matteress but I'm happy with that :D

Missy H is still tucked up in bed - snow day for her! Master H stomped off around the house and sulked all the way to school as he wanted a day at home on minecraft :rotfl:

Must brave the roads as we need bread and milk  have a huge pan of fridge gravel veggie soup cooking and have put some chicken breasts in some tikka marinade for a tikk masala friday night fake-away. Will make naan breads later this afternoon with the left over yoghurt.

Other than the shop run for supplies and the school run this afternoon I'm planning on a sofa day with trashy Tv and my knitting/crocheting.... Superman had me up at 4am  he is concerned about the worlds water resources and the unsubstainable resources we us to survive :o He gave me a right lecture about turning taps off when brushing my teeth and offered to time my shower this morning  He is also operating a if it yellow.... policy much to missy H's disgust! :rotfl:

All fun in the house of hinge!

Thanks Beanie - I hope you are managing to stay safe and warm in this vile snow!

I sent Mr H out to collect my ebay purchases.... Alongside the cot I managed to bit up a few other baby essentials for local collection, a baby bouncerchair for £10.01 instead of paying £89.99 for a new one - it's still in it's sealed box and factory wrapped as it was a unwanted baby shower gift :T and a baby sling for £4.23 again retails at £70-80 it looks barely used.... the seller just "forgot" about it :rotfl:

other than a cot matteress we only need some muslin squares.... total baby spends £262 :T

March's council tax payment has been moved over to the holiday spends pot. :j

Hobbie fees due Tuesday missy H £12, Superman £28 and master H £27...... have a hen do to pay for too £40  not overly keen on going but kind of feel like I "ought" to :o

Must check the meters and send Eon a reading as our bill is due this week..... not looking forward to it, we've been enjoying the heating alittle too much :o

Have a few items listed for sale on the local selling pages although no interest so far - must give them a bump later today.

Mr H has been to the shop for bread and crisps.... £39 later he is back  I really just don't know how to get through to him that we have a budget to stick to.

:A I remember back to my first joining MSE and master H was a baby H. :D hadn't considered hitchhiker with be a baby H too :)

Mr H picked up "food he likes" he means the £4 a go pizzas, fresh breaded fish instead of the less than half price frozen ones and as many bottles of pepsi and chocolate bars as he could carry, he took Missy H on his errands (no way he can brave these things alone ) and let her pick [STRIKE]sugar filled !!!! from the FF section[/STRIKE] too many treats for pack ups. As a result to make our budget balance I've told him the takeaway planned for our wedding anniversary this week is off the cards  he is sulking and once again I feel bereft as I was so looking forward to a nice curry that didnt invovle me slaving away cooking it first!

I've had to play bedroom tetras to fit everything in, my side of the bed is rather full and the tops of our wardrobes are piled high..... I suggest we moved the bed over a little to give me some more room but quickly ditched the idea to avoid a Mr H meltdown. I remind myself it's not his fault.......

Master H and Superman have done their homework, pack ups are packed for tomorrow and they are currently enjoying down time. Superman making a mega ultimate lego creations that no doubt will end in tears :o and master H has roped missy H in to a game of minecraft. They've fleeced me out of their pocket money first thing :rotfl:Superman is saving up for his "adult life" and master H has mentally spent every penny and more of his until he's 18 :rotfl::rotfl:

Superman saving for his adult life made me smile. Maybe I should save up for when I’m an adult too :rotfl:.

Gutted you will miss your curry. Is there no way at all it can happen? Xx

It's for his business venture :rotfl: I too need to save up for adulting!

I could take the money out of the planned amount to save this month HOWEVER we need to be saving for a new car we wont all fit in ours when hitchhiker arrives and I feel if I give in this time there has been no consequences to Mr H ignoring my £5 limit when he went off today knowing full well the reasons why. Mr H is given a weekly shopping amount to do as he pleases and he could of spent his own cash today but instead chose to spend mine! who knows maybe he will be adult enough to see my upset and use some of his cash to treat me for a change :o
