Royal Mail Package Signed by Stranger

Hi
I have recently purchased concert tickets and stupidly forgot to update my billing address as the last time I ordered tickets I was living at my previous address.
Royal Mail sent me confirmation via text and email to say the tickets had been delivered (at this point I was unaware it was to the wrong address).
Once I had found out that it was delivered to the wrong house, I visited my old house to ask for the tickets. Unfortunately the current tenants do not speak English. Eventually after trying to communicate with them, they called someone to translate for me. It turns out the person they called was the person who signed for the tickets but insists she told the delivery guy to send them back to the depot despite signing for them.
I have proof that a signature was given and that it is not mine. I am going to the local Royal Mail depot to enquire about the delivery.
If they tell me that the tickets were definitely delivered to this address and not returned, what are my options?
I have already called the ticket sellers, they say they cannot do anything for me as they have been signed for, even if it was not by me.
Thanks

You ordered something to be delivered to your old address. The seller/venue has sent the order as per your instructions, to the old address. You can try and dispute the delivery with RM but if they can show delivery, you are stuffed. You need to accept you are to blame.0

They deliver to an adult at the address they are given (not necessarily the named individual), and this is what they did. Unless the tickets turn up or are able to be cancelled and then reissued then there's not an awful lot you can do.0

Proof of delivery doesn't even need a signature , just tracking showing it went to the address supplied by the buyer.
Unless you can personally track down the tickets I suspect your money is lost.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
