I am looking for a good washer dryer as my new home is limited in space . Could anyone recommend a good one as I have heard things that they take ages to dry things etc. Also one that does not need a vent outside of possible .

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Can you go stacked?
Check if there are any heatpump washer dryers0 -
As far as I know they all take ages to dry & none need a vent.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

We were in a similar position and paid a kings ransom for a Miele. Stopped working after about six years and then became totally unreliable. Replaced with a Miele washer only and not had any problems. Would never buy another combined washer dryer. But would love a tumble dryer oh well lol0

Could you have a tumbler drier in the garage (that's where ours is), as combinations are a compromise and if they break down you lose the use of both drier and washing machine ?0

Maybe worth buying the cheapest one available and get a five year warranty and just expect to get 5 years use.
IKEA did one for £600 with a 5 year warranty and not bad quality. They have a sale starting tomorrow so may be worth a look. Also I believe John Lewis have a sale on.
Alternatively if you have a launderette near you it can be economic to take your washing there once a week to be dried and doesn't take long. I know people who do this and they say it works for them.0
