Car Insurance Cancellation Help
Comments
-
I have avoided mentioning the type of cars because I don't think it matters.
The facts are:
His existing Asda insurance quoted £270 to update his policy for the remaining 4 months.
He can get a new yearly insurance from someone else for only £40 more for £310.
He wants to do this but Asda are asking for £65 cancellation charge and no refund on his outstanding 4 months.
He has over 10 years NCD so is not worried about cancelling early.
He is going to scrap the old car as it needs too much work/money before the MOT which is due in 4 months time.0 -
If you have off-road parking space then sorn the car for the 4 months and then scrap it. That will save the cancellation fee.
Not sure if this will impact the insurance on the new car.
