Auto Aid Breakdown Recovery

I have phoned auto aid to renew my premium for twelve months and have been told that there would be a charge of £5 to post the documents on to me.

Been with them for some years and never had this charge before.

Told that they could email the documents free of charge.

Employee admitted that they had received a load of complaints.

Just get them emailed to you and even if you print them yourself it will cost a lot less than £5!.

To save the £5 postage I renewed online. I am still waiting for the documents to be emailed to me so I phoned them. I have been told that my membership has been renewed but there is a delay in sending out the documents. Received short email to confirm my renewal.
I just feel sorry for the members who do not have an email.

Looks like things already taking a turn for the worse under RCIB then. Anyone had AutoAid claims experience since the changeover?
