Visa Dispute Rejected

My bank refused my visa Dispute because i know the person that stole from me and as he is only 7 the police won't do anything oh and it was £11,000 on apse and gaming sites all non refundable as I can't prove it was him to them as it was on my phone.

But I'feel some one had stolen my phone and done this they would refund.

Is this right or is this wrong completely no protection how they let so much money out is crazy..

So you let a seven year old use your phone, play with £11,000 on various apps, and you want the bank to refund you. Hmmn.

Which gaming sites was he using and how did he know about them? How did he have your passwords, or did he set the accounts up as well?

Very clever 7 year old that can find a way to get round the ID and age verification checks for gaming sites and manage to attach someone else's credit/debit card to those accounts. Top work!

If the phone was stolen then presumably it would been reported to the police at the time, but clearly we are talking here about access to the OPs phone over a prolonged period of time to rack up these costs...so there is implied consent for the phone's usage.

If I let my 9yo have the keys to my car, do you think the insurance will pay out if the car gets smashed up and I allege that son was driving, not myself..............?!?!

I can not stop laughing when I read this story, I think the OP will need to make up a better story than this for people to ever believe it, lol.

Is not that more straight forward for the OP to go to FOS if s/he believe has evidence to what s/he has claimed.

Also creating a new account to tell a story like this will not surprise anyone here.
