Pressure washer

I'm after buying a pressure washer to clean the driveway and concrete slabs riund the back of the house. The driveway is aproximately 3 cars lenghts by 2 wide and the patio area has enough room for a resoanble sized 4 person table. There are so many out there all of different prices/specs I'm realy at a loss and would appriciate any impartial advice.
Thanks,
Kido

When looking at the specification look at water flow rate as well as pressure. Lots of pressure but not much water takes a long time to get things clean.0

Get one with an induction motor if you want it to last, they are better quality and do not have brushes to wear out. They are generally cost over £60.
Having said that I have a cheap one £30 from B&Q and it seems OK so far. It cleans well but does take a long time to clean the patio.
The rotary patio/driveway cleaner head attachments seem a good idea but are not cheap. They have two nozzles on a rotating arm to clean large areas quicker.
It depends on how often you want to clean the driveway, it might be cheaper and quicker to hire an industrial one for a day with a patio/driveway cleaner head.
Wear some wellies when cleaning a driveway or you will get soaked.0 -
Actually Karchers are not that expensive to repair, for future reference visit espares.co.uk/karcher they supply GENUINE karcher parts with exploded views of every model, you can buy EVERY SINGLE part that makes up your washer. (£21 karcher will collect and do a strip down inspection to determine fault)
There are also a few common issues which can be rectified such as Air Lock, Pulsing and sticky by-pass valves without the need to do any repairs.
Disconnect mains and high pressure hose and connect water supply and let it run freely for 5 mins. Then reconnect pressure hose and mains turn on and hopefully should have cured fault.
