Hi,

I was confused by the submission process on the POLA website and decided to send in my appeal as outlined above. In brief I was unsure
as to the "grounds" for appeal.
I have now received a communication from POPLA saying they require the appeal, on one of their appeal forms, I certainly was not aware of that from the website.
The "grounds" are still listed
1.Vehicle Stolen
2.I was not improperly parked
3.Amount requested incorrect
4.I was not the driver or registered keeper at the time of parking
5.Extreme circumstances prevented parking correctly.
6. Other

This is what flummoxed me when looking at the POPLA website...

sorry for being a bit dim, but it is of course other isn't it?

I think its their rather 'loaded' warning that "appeals based solely on the following grounds are less likely to be succesful"

I've been given a week to reply, so any tips on completing this by post would be most appreciated,

Yes, and guess what, that warning was there from the start, before they had ANY figures to base that on whatsoever! We believe that was written after the BPA were consulted and had possibly 'suggested' to POPLA what to put in all the headings.

Put your PDF as an unloaded attachment under OTHER, as everyone here does.
