Hi all,
I'm a first time buyer. We have just found a property with an asking price of £390k, what sort of offer would you table up to begin with.
The typical selling price of similar properties in the area is £375k
Any help would be great

Well, under £375k might be low - so in this case I'd be tempted to leave £375k on the table and say it really is your max for this property, or I'd wait until they dropped the price - which invariably they will if it's £15k over what they usually sell for

Also depends when it came on the market, etc, and if it had something the others didn't have...
