I recently claimed carers allowence for my mum who is disabled then my father decided to claim so i withdrew my claim for carers allowence .
I signed on last week as normal only to find out that £50 has been stopped out of my jsa even though i phoned up to tell them i was withdrawing my claim when my father put in his claim.
Dont know what to do next

Did you sign off JSA? It can take a while for Carers' Allowance to be processed during which time it can be cancelled by a phone call. Was it ever paid?0

No i am still on jsa but they took £50 off me even though i withdrew my claim0

You should ring them up and ask why they did this, I don't know why a claim for Carers' that is cancelled before they've even processed it would affect JSA.
. £50 is about 5 days money, are you still receiving JSA or have they closed the claim?0 -
