Lloyds Default Notice Template Sent To Me - What Next?

I had a credit card with Lloyds, balance was £5500 when defaulted in 2011. I have since paid over £3500 to the balance leaving around £2000.
I wrote to them and asked for the CCA and default notice and I received a reply the other day. They have sent me the CCA unsigned, although apparently this is ok I believe.
The letter then goes onto the default notice request, here is the reply:
Although we do not hold a true copy of the default notice sent to you, a template of the default notice produced by the computer systems on 26 September 2011 is enclosed
Can they get away with just sending me a date and a template?
This is not to stop paying any debt, however I definitely didn't receive a default notice. I would have remembered that!
What is my next move and could anyone help with a template for my next letter?
Thanks

Yep - the template and date is fine.0

A date could be plucked from anywhere, how does a template prove they sent it out?0

You still owe £2k. Why worry about the default date.0

The default is obviously having a negative impact on things. I've no problem with the debt, my issue is the default and lack of notice0

Can anyone help with a template or a few lines for a reply to Lloyds please?0

why are you questioning this? Are you hoping to get the default removed from your credit file? If so I would be careful. In just over a years' time this default, and associated account, will drop off your credit file all together. If you have been making reduced payments since 2011 then if the default is removed that information will be available on your credit file for another 6 years which may have a longer lasting impact.0
