laminate or carpet?

Our flat is laminate all through - includes kitchen & bathroom.
Chose the Aqualoc, B&Q, so long warranty & waterproof. Buit NOT when you have a bad joint in the 'clik together' in the bathroom. & a washing machine with a tiny, not noticed till too late, washing machine leak!!
Chose the Limed Oak colour - almost white - makes the whole place easy to clean & easy to see if dirty, so much lighter in here, too.
& all the dust that I clean up, with the magic mop, every morning, makes me think it'd be stuck in the carpet & not noticed, if we had n't fitted laminate!
