As yet undiagnosed pre existing condition Travel Ins

I am undergoing tests by the NHS for a possible enlarged prostate. I know its enlarged, I just don't have the consultants confirmation. Not until August due to the seemingly e x t e n d e d d i a g n s i s waiting time.
I contacted L. Guard as we have just booked a cruise for early 17 and have another holiday in Spain in Oct 16 and wanted cover in case there were problems between then and now.
It seems that as the condition is un-diagnosed I cannot be insured until August when it will most likely be confirmed. I said what happens if I state I have it and then the consultant says I don't ? LG said I would not be covered for anything. And in any case they could not issue a policy under these circumstances.
Seems I cannot get insurance!
Any suggestions as to what I can do, if anything?

We are in a very similar situation and having now spoken to a number of insurance companies it does seem that it is not possible to get travel insurance whilst waiting for a diagnosis. Tthe problem is that the insurer cannot determine the magnitude of the risk without a confirmed diagnosis.0
