Wanted to say thanks to lilias, for posting all the Best loved hotels comps.
Well I just had the "For competition entrants only:Special offer" e-mail, which they send to all people who enter.
This one was for The Castle Hotel in Taunton, which we happen to be staying at this Friday night (a fab birthday treat for me from Mr BH).
The offer is a Somerset Cream Tea with all new bookings made before end of June 2016. I have just phoned the hotel and said "I know this is for new reservations but I wonder if there is any chance we could claim it? etc"
And they said yes! So we have cream tea for free at three (PM) :j
Just shows there is nothing to be lost from asking nicely xxxx
