Passport renewal from Spain

Hello all,
I currently live in Spain and had to send my passport off for renewal. I have been tracking the application on the government’s website and have today seen it has been dispatched to my return address. However, there is no mention of the courier service and when I should be expected to receive it.
As needed for the application, I gave my home address but I’m concerned that I won’t be there when it’s delivered. The courier is meant to leave a calling card if no one answers but, due it being a secure block of flats, I’m not sure that will be possible.
Has anyone been through the same experience or know what courier the passport service use? It seems illogical not to allow tracking of the actual delivery, particularly with something so important.
Many thanks,
Banfi

contact the passport office directly

I have done, however it could two weeks for a response. I was hoping that I'd receive a quicker response on here to found out what others know. If I can find out the courier, I could contact them instead.0
