Electoral roll and addresses

Hello all,
Just looking for a bit of advice regarding the electoral roll.
I'm currently not on the electoral roll and wanted to register as to improve my credit score (I'm currently fair), but I was wondering whether I can do the following:
Background info:
- I currently live at my Nans
- I have all my bills, cards, bank and pretty much anything that you register for at my Mum's address
Would it be better for me to just register on the electoral roll at my home address until I find somewhere independently?
If so, would it affect anything of mine, my Nan's or my Mum's?
Cheers!

You should register in the place you live, also known as "the place where my stuff is". If you live in two places then you can register at both, check the details at https://www.gov.uk/electoral-register/overview
And no, it doesn't affect anything of yours, Nans or Mums. All it does is put you on the electoral roll, and get you a lot of spam if will slip and register with the open register (make sure to not sign up for this one).0
