As above , most consumer products focus mainly on download speeds .
The A in ADSL stands for asynchronous , which means obviously that download and upload speeds are not synchronous.

Upload speed has been sacrificed to give you better download - mainly because that's what we mostly do. Paying a little extra for fibre will give you more than acceptable upload speeds (in most cases).0
