USB Bluetooth Dongle problem!

I have just bought a bluetooth dongle for my Samsung D500 to connect to my laptop. I have managed to pair these devices, but cannot get the laptop to connect to the internet via the mobile phone. I have downloaded the appropriate software from the Samsung site, and set it up, but when I try to connect, it isn't working. My phone is on o2.

Also, when the software is trying to connect to the internet, it is asking for username and password - I have no idea!!!
