Morning all, hope you may be able to advise me.
I have two issues.
1. Ordered a product for our business, next day delivery, so ordered before 10am as per the terms of the supplier. Delivery did not come next day, instead will be Monday (tomorrow) 3 days later. Not a courier fault, it's the suppliers fault. They did offer Saturday delivery but it was too late and I had to go out and buy £100's of pounds worth of supplies from retail, costing me double if not more. What can I do about this as it seems very unfair.
2. Rent a secure office and unit, gates have been broken for weeks, sometimes denying access for hours, and sometime being open for days on end. I'm paying rent, what should I be doing asking them for the money back?
Just feel that sometimes people take advantage.
Any ideas appreciated.

1. Order earlier, or if you are forced into a last minute purchase, buy from cash & carry/retail as you appear to have done.
2. Probably better to ask them to fix the gates0 -
1. You are bound by your contract what does it say regarding late delivery?
2. Have you suffered a loss due to the faulty gates,? What does lease say?
As a business you need to read your contracts especially leases on property, no one here can do that for you so it's impossible to say what your options are.0
