How do you cancel LOVEFILM? and how quick is it?

sorry didnt know where to post this, but as i found the free trial offer here i thought you peoplewould be in the know!

so how do i cancel lovefilm and how quick is it? (btw took t out via quidco!)

if you can answer then cheers!

Just phone them, or go on after 10, and click cancel.
Send DVDs back.
Make sure to do this 2/3 days before end.
And your fine

yep - it's 10pm.

When you click cancel if its before 10pm it says phone.
If you click cancel after 10pm it lets you cancel online.

I cancelled the free trial online 2 days before it finished, and unfortunately they'd just sent out another title to me that day, which meant I couldn't physically receive it and return in in time as it was over a weekend.

As a result I got charged for a month's subscription - so be careful to allow enough time to cancel and return discs.

However, I wrote to them explaining the situation and they kindly refunded the money they charged to my card

I got my email at 00:10 next day so be careful, but I put a holiday on my account so I wasnt charged

I always delete all the films in my list before I cancel then they cant send more out, and always do it by the site after 11pm

well i have one dvd out at the mo so was gunna ring and cancel and send it in!

will that work?

also my trial ends next sunday so i have a week! lol

will cancel around 10:20 as my internet gets cut off at half 10 (stops me using up our limit!)

best thing to do is put your account on holiday, send dvd back then cancel.

Word of advice - I phoned to cancel and they offered me 3 months for the price of one.. Would have taken it up, had I not already got a 3 month free offer elsewhere..
