Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.
Overcast a quite a bit cooler this morning, we had heavy rain again yesterday, but it brightened up after lunch. OH managed to clear some weeds from the front garden, well we think they were weeks, could not make up our minds, so they came out anyway. There is a bit more still to do, might get done in the week.
We are off to a local village that has 15 gardens open, they are only open for 5 hours, which meand to get to all of them you have to do 3 an hour. I certainly will not be rushing round.
Everything prepped for me to cook supper when we get back.0 -
Morning All
I read every day but am an infrequent poster but I now have a week off work and at last have some down time. :j:j
DH and I go way tomorrow, we are having some work done in the house and because of my COPD it would not be a good idea for me to stick around with all the dust.
I love reading about everyone's lives and how we all get by and the trials and tribulations and how we all deal with them.
Almost finished the packing WM is on with last few bits.
DH is a shift worker, on nights so he will have a few hours sleep tomorrow before we set off.
Will strip the bed when he gets up later and put fresh sheets on, have a hoover around and then relax with some knitting.
Wishing you all a lovely Sunday.

Good morning chums, DGS enjoyed their 'naughty night with Nanny'
as did Nanny
:):)
Just put some saugages on for a late breakfast as they all had a good lie in today..They went to Thorpe Park yesterday with their grown-up sister and came home quite exhauasted after an awful lot of queueing a bit cross as well as a good few of the rides were shut still. Didn't reflect in the ticket price though Grrr.
Still it was a nice day out for them.
Today we are going to have a quiet Sunday and just potter around. DD and son-in-law and DGS Ben will be coming home this afternoon from Norwich where he is at Uni so I can see a large pile of washing on its way He is changing his shared house this year to one nearer to Uni in September so all his belongings will be coming home today.
DD has gone armed to the teeth with yellow gloves and cleaning stuff to make sure he will get his deposit back (fingers crossed)
Weather not that bright at the moment, not cold but very cloudy. Hope it doesn't rain on the people in the Mall for the Queen's birthday party.
Have a good day everyone what ever you are doing

Oh dear thats horrible ,although I can remember back in the 1960s 'pox parties' where the young mums would get the kids together so they could catch it and get it all over and done with before school started :eek:0 -

Afternoon all, have spent the day messing about, tired from yesterday and too wet to want to go out.
About to stick a chicken in the oven, with lots of garlic and herbs, we'll have that with new potatoes and salad.
Have made a light cardigan foe friend's granddaughter . Lovely ted with teddy bear face buttons, they are wooden so her poor mum will have to hand wash itI was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -

Welcome NRA.
Well I've just spent ten minutes clearing up the pot of double cream I threw all over the utility room wall and floor - plus some landed on and in my lovely new red trainers.:mad: I hulled some strawberries, poured some cream over the top and tried to put the rest of the tub back in the fridge, and missed! I've washed the shoes clean and put them outside to dry but no doubt they'll smell rancid soon.
Still got to pull out the salad drawers and clean underneath them but they'll need emptied of the beer cans, tonic cans and stock of butter in them first. Probably should have stayed in bed.
Hey ho, I'll do the final clearing out and then go upstairs and start to stream Outlander to cheer myself up. I've been promising myself that I'd watch this for ages - now seems the right time to indulge myself.0
