Avast has installed the new Avast safezone browser on my computer yesterday and it is a fast browser just like Chrome browser used to be , My Chrome browser has been alot slower the last few weeks for some reason and I was wondering if it was just a coincidence or Avast antivirus slowed down my Chrome browser so I would try Avast browser.

I removed the Avast Browser (I think I decided it was a privacy risk).
It shouldn't have affected the Chrome browser, but Avast does (by default) install some other browser add-ons, which might be causing problems.
You should be able to remove them by running the installer again.0 -
always when installing avast, do a custom install and untick everything except the 3 main shields (or 2 if you don't use an e-mail client). This still installs the safezone browser but you can just ignore that if you don't want to use it

Alas, quite the opposite, judging from these articles. I believe the issues mentioned have now been patched, but as Google researcher Tavis Ormandy said:Selling antivirus doesn’t qualify you to fork chromium, you’re going to screw it up.
