EHIC card

So I was fishing out my EHIC card ready for a trip and realised I have two. Now if I recall correctly I ordered a new one a few years back and it didn't arrive so then sent another and so I had two. Thought I'd binned one of them but clearly didn't. Both have the same expiry date. So question is which one is valid? Do i just keep the one with the higher higher number?

Call the number on the card to check - although I don't know if the phones are answered at the weekend, so if you're going before Monday that may not be the answer.0

Thanks, I remember trying them when I was on holidays a few years back and I'm sure its an automated thing. Anyway I'll give them a call on Monday to see if I can get to speak to someone.0
