My handheld is working perfectly but I am now unable to sync with my PC as Win 10 has not facility to allow me to do this. (Although when I press the sync button it seems to be syncing but I cannot find where to despite extensive searches on my PC.
So what I would like is to have suggestions of which app I could use with the closest facilities to my Palm. The diaries and calendars seem to be elementary, e.g. to not allow birth dates to automatically enter for future years; regular appointments not carried forward for future weeks, etc.
Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I've got an old Palm (T3) syncing to Windows 10 - is that what you're after? You have to jump through a few hoops to get the very old Palm Desktop software to work in Windows 10, but it can be done.
Can you let me know what version of Palm Desktop you're currently running?0 -
Well thankyou and I hope we can work together but it may take a while although I have all the manuals and disks I only work 'parrot fashion' i.e the disks say (1) Desktop Software for Windows & Mac and (2) Software Essentials but they wont reload. We have tried to download 6.2 but although it seemed to have worked, I can't find the download anywhere on my new PC - so at present it is a mystery. Now I have probably misunderstood you so if I have explain more fully 'Palm Desktop you're currently running'.
Thanks so much, I feel like I have had my arm chopped off.0 -
Sounds like you don't actually have it installed on the computer yet then - It'll take me a while too, but I do have it running at home. It looks like 6.2.2 is the latest version, and is made by Access, who bought the rights to PalmOS AFAIR. Is that what you downloaded? If so, find it, or download it again.
Now, when you go to install it, don't just double click the .exe - right click it, and click on 'Run as administrator'.
Once it's installed, you're not done. You need to set the installed programme to 'run as administrator' every time now.
Try message 6 in this thread, and we'll see how you go. Come back and let us know how it goes!
