Electoral roll, change of address and mortgage application

I have a mortgage application made for a new property which is being built off plan. I sold my flat in February and am living in rented accommodation.
I may well need to reapply for my mortgage as it is expiring just before the expected completion date, however I am concerned that whilst I had a good credit rating at my old address, as I'm not currently showing on the electoral roll here it may impact my re-application.
I registered at the beginning of May, however using checkmyfile today it shows that I am not registered at my new address. How long should it naturally take, and is there a manual process where I can contact the credit reference agencies to tell them this is my new address and I have actually registered to vote?

If my current experience is anything to go by, it could be a while.
I was removed from the electoral roll in December (I have no idea why.) I first found out about it in my February Noddle/Clearscore reports but assumed it was an error. March still showed me as not being registered but at the end of March I got a postcard through the door from the council saying that "Their records show there is nobody register to vote at this address."
I immediately reregistered but each months reports (including my most recent Noddle one from yesterday) still show me as not being registered.
I have received poll cards for both the May and June elections so I'm certainly back on it as far as the council are concerned.0 -
Councils only update once a year to credit agencies so it can take over a year. I experienced this last year when we moved to a short term rental to wait for our house to be built. What I did was contact the Electoral Services Manager at the local authority, got her to confirm for me via email that I was registered here and then forwarded it to all three CRA's asking them to manually update it for me and they all obliged0
