Scottish Power - A nice surprise......
Email received from Scottish Power today.....
A compensation payment from ScottishPower
At ScottishPower we're committed to treating our customers fairly. However, we're aware that you experienced poor customer service from us while we upgraded our billing system between 1st April 2014 to 31st March 2016. We have therefore agreed with the energy regulator Ofgem to make a compensation payment of £73 to you.
We have arranged to credit this amount to your energy account. We apologise for any inconvenience you have experienced.
What happens next?
You don't need to take any action. This credit will appear as a compensation payment in the 'Other charges' section of the next bill or statement that's created in your online account.
We would like to reassure you that we continue to listen to our customers and make further improvements to provide you with our best possible service. Since upgrading our billing system, ScottishPower's customer service has improved. We have increased the number of call centre advisors and extended our opening hours to make it easier to contact us. We have also developed new digital services so customers can now make Direct Debit payment changes and request a refund through their online account.
If you have any questions, please contact our UK based Customer Service Team on the number below.
Thank you for being a ScottishPower customer.
Yours sincerely
Lynda Clayton
Customer Service Director
Not sure how many people are going to receive this but thought it worth a mention.
