Poor credit rating same address

I have a very bad credit rating with loan defaults on it, a relative of mine who lives at the same address had applied for a new credit card today at the bank and were declined even though they have a perfect credit rating, the person at the bank told them that someone with bad credit rating at their address can cause this. Everywhere online says that this is not the case but could this be the case with Santander?

No, it is not the case,
Addresses change all the time so its impossible to keep track.,,, Names and Dates of Birth stay the same for all of your life
Your friend should ask why they were declined or double chekc their credit rating as to why they were declinedmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Whoever gave/provided the perfect credit rating should be offering credit cards.
Perfect credit ratings don't exist, well they may do but the rating isn't seen by lenders.0
