Wi Fi flight - Euro football

Anyone know if I would be able to watch ITV or BBC Iplayer on a flight that has WI Fi to purchase? I do have Surfeasy on my iPad. I know I should be able to listen the Five Live if not.

It may be possible on an airline somewhere, but currently most inflight wi-fi blocks video streaming due to bandwidth restrictions.0

I've only ever used in-flight WiFi on Norwegian, but it struggled to download tweets and emails. I can't imagine watching live tv would work. But maybe other airlines are better0

Thanks, I did vaguely remember something like that the last time I had a flight with WiFi option. Five Live will do anyway and I know I listened to that all the way back from the US on an overnight flight.Paddle No 21 :wave:0

depends where you are flying too and as already said any airlines who offer free wi-fi its so weak you can only really get emails"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

You won't be able to watch iplayer outside the UK. You could download programmes in advance and watch on the plane - that won't need wifi.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. The OP mentioned they have Surfeasy, which would allow them to watch geo-restricted content outside the UK via VPN. The issue is video streaming onboard (and the fact that you can't download live programmes in advance...)0
