As others have said you are out of time to bring a claim and even if you weren't from your previous thread you only worked there for 4 months so don't have the qualifying service to bring one anyway.

I think it's really unlikely the CEO of a major cinema chain will give a fig about any individual employee who couldn't pass a reference check, but if you think otherwise then email them direct or write to them. Threatening legal action when you have no claim won't get you anywhere.

Sorry, but it isn't going to happen. Even if you get to him, he really isn't going to care. And nothing at all will happen to this person that you say was the cause of it. You are simply prolonging your own pain and misery. It's six months now. You need to move on, or this will consume you and make you ill.

Then why did you not contact them six months ago? You do have his direct line, and his personal email (not the one his PA controls), don't you?

What information are you looking for that you can't reasonably get yourself? This was a very short term employment, surely you know what pay you received and your dates of employment.

I now live in another country so I can't just call HMRC.

The CEO contacted me last night as this has obviously been heard through the grapevine and he is furious. I was head hunted by him and given the job however I never really had his personal contact information in the first place.

His email address was not a Joe.Blogs@ address so I was unable to contact him that way as it turns out members of the public had sussed this and were sending a lot of complaint emails directly to him so it was changed.

What a fantastic coincidence that is, after six months he suddenly contacts you out of nowhere! :rotfl:

How did he contact you? You must be pretty remote if you don't have the means to contact HMRC.
