OU degree and funding via +24 loan

I am looking to apply for the OU Health and social care degree. I will also be applying for funding via a +24 loan for this.
My question is do I take the funding out for the entire degree in one go (which would be a huge loan as the entire course is 340 credits) or do I only apply for the amount of credits I do per year?
I just can't get my head around the loan part and don't want to apply in the wrong way!

I thought the OU gave financial advice?
Normally you apply for funding for the courses you are studying that year.0 -
As far as I am aware (I'm on the old arrangements through OU) it is done through student finance (student loans company), not a 24+ loan.
If you call OU, they will be more than happy to talk you through it.0 -
I'm on the new arrangements and it's a P/T fee loan you need not a 24+ loan. OU have royally fudged me over with my loan just as I'm about to start my final year so I wouldn't necessarily trust anything they tell you *The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

a fee loan for part time study from Student Finance England (SFE) is what you need. You have to apply each academic year for funding to cover your chosen module(s) for the year. I have just applied been approved for a loan to cover a 60 credit module that starts in October this year. This is the third module I have applied to have funded by SFE.0
