I bought my son a M&S classic collection "pure cotton performance" shirt that is tuly non-iron. Even when I iron it I can't put a crease in the sleeve!0

Hubby wears TM Lewin non-iron shirts - he loves them. We either dry them on the line or on hangers and they really don't need ironing.0

Not sure if this is a true story,or an urban legend, but many many years ago I heard the story of a man who used to regularly donate his shirts to a charity shop.A couple of days later he would go back to the charity shop and buy them all back-they were freshly pressed and on hangers, ready to sell

I just buy decent quality polyester-cotton shirts, from M&S, Debenhams or one of the other well-known retailers.
Then after washing, I always hang them up to dry. Most never get ironed for work.
If you're using a tumble dryer, don't tumble them until they are completely crispy and bone dry. Take them out while still a bit damp and hang them up to finish drying. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Have you tried Costco? I believe they sell no iron shirts0

I suppose some people somewhere actually iron for pleasure.
If you're really opposed to ironing, you may be surprised how many of your existing shirts will look quite smart just dried on a decent clothes hanger.0 -
Well Ive invested in an energy efficient AEG condenser dryer, which I dry pretty much everything in because you can just hang stuff and there are no creases! Having said that I still iron everything because I can't bear not to (and I do have a life)!!
Non iron shirts from M&S dried and hung up could go straight in the wardrobe!0 -
Any non 100% cotton, ie £7 from Primark, just put on a hanger straight from the washing machine as soon as the cycle finishes. No probs, I never iron shirts.0

Confused - if leaving them still damp, there isn't much point in using the tumble dryer (??)
Also poly-cotton seem to be rather uncomfortable against the skin, (at least my TShirts ones certainly were!) but maybe M&S are better?0
