Change of jobs

Hi All
At the moment I earn around £13900, income has not changed between this & the last tax year. I have been awarded a total of £392.84 (made up of bot CTC & WTC) per 4 weeks.
Im looking for a new job, one that will be a bit more so I lower my reliance on the tax credits, however if I was to say get a new job in a couple of months for £20000 would my award change this tax year or would it remain the same as its calculated on last years income?
Thanks

It will change. I believe its initially based on last year but your actual entitlement is based on this year.0 -
It'll depend on what your income for this tax year will be rather than the new salary.0
