Hi,
Please can someone offer me some advice. I have been trying to up my credit score and have been using clearscore to help. For the last couple of months its be steady on 517 out of 700. I have since settled an account and just have £200 left on my credit card. the only other loan i have is my mortgage. Anyways I eagerly logged on this morning to check my new report and it has gone down to 486 .
Can anybody give me an indication why?
Thanks

Credit scores are worthless.
Lenders do not see them; they do not make lending decisions based on them.
Your credit score is a number manufactured by the credit reference agency in order to sell you their 'improve' services.0 -
Your credit score from my side shows 700 out of 700 and not 486. jokes apart just ignore that useless random numbers, what you need is good credit history with all your green dots, no missed payment, default etc....and not the score from the CRA. lenders dont see them. you may be bankrupt and have highest number from CRA.Aqua Advance £ 9500 ( Settled ) | BC Platinum Card 25/25 £10500 | 24 studio £1950 | SimplyBe £1800 | Nationwide Flexplus A/C OD £800| Meaningless Noddles score= 3/50
