Job screening process

Can anyone advise?
i have been offered a job although need to pass my screening.
i was asked if i had any ccjs or made bankrupt i havent but i have IVA in place
will i fail this screening and will i not get the job now :(

    Yes...no...no idea.

    You will need to declare that you are subject to a formal insolvency arrangement with your creditors.

    Whether that leads to the job offer being withdrawn or not is up to the employer. Most employers just require you to have no unsatisfied CCJ's and have been discharged from Bankruptcy but you never know.

    I had the same thing a few months ago, the only difference being that my IVA finished several years ago. I declared it on the screening and didn't hear any more about it.

    I would declare it but perhaps also speak to their HR department to see what they think before handing in your notice at your current job

    If they only ask about bankruptcy and CCJs you could of course say you have neither. Assuming they check these answers a IVA will show up, so probably best telling them upfront, it makes you look better being upfront (they don't get a negative surprise) and they maybe able to put your mind at rest
