    My current estate agents do this, the only one in the area to do it.

    Whats mostly confusing is some have actually come back onto the market, but you wouldn't know this because its just been online the whole time and you marked it to yourself as sold.

    Our last-but-one house was still on RM - not marked as 'sold' or 'under offer' - several months after we'd completed on the purchase and moved in. I only spotted it by chance and called them immediately to get them to take it down. It was one of the very few interesting character properties on their books/in the area so guess they'd done it to lure buyers for the less desirable houses ;)
    Mortgage-free for fourteen years!
